Scoring Formula
Score = (positive word count − negative word count) per transcript. Higher scores indicate more optimistic management tone. Scores typically range from −10 to +40.
The engine scans for guidance-related phrases (e.g., “raised outlook,” “lowered guidance,” “reaffirmed targets”) and classifies direction as Raised, Maintained, or Lowered.
Data Source
Based on the most recent earnings call transcript per company. Rankings show executive-only sentiment (CEO, CFO, COO speakers) to filter out analyst questions.
